In the past, the “Crush” was fantastic with live music at most venues and food parings to say the least. It was totally an EVENT with dancing and a true celebration. We have gone the past 4 years… this year was a huge disappointment…. Limited music, limited food parings unless you made an additional purchase, and frankly fewer people…. How about purchasing a grilled hot dog for $12? Note that the tickets are $50 per day or $65 for the two days, which in the past was fair and reasonable.

Good for those that didn’t attend this year. I felt in the past wineries were competing in a friendly atmosphere to make their venue the very best. This year…. certainly not the case. We had a large group of people join the past few years and may not return. I wrote to the Amador Big Crush with no response.

Went to the first 8 Big Crush events and they were great. Its been awhile. Went back today and it was horrible. They really changed the event and not for the better. Very little offered other than tasting and you only get to visit a handful of wineries. Not much food offered unless you want to spend even more than $. There was hardly anyone there. What a shame.
