This was the best possible place I could have recorded my audiobook IntuWitchin. Surrounded by redwood trees, (yes in LA!) I sat by the pond in the sunshine between sessions and Roger was an incredible host. He even let me bring my cat who sat in my lap while I read. It was perfection. The Doghouse Studio totally slays!! They have top-notch gear and a really inviting and amazing sounding tracking room. Rodger is the best and there is this really cool treehouse you can hang out In between takes! For real!! I have recorded and tracked there, many many times, and it's always been such a great experience!
I've even written a bunch there randomly!!! It's just such a great creative space!!
Do yourself a favor and book a session there! You won't regret it!

I have been to many studios over the past ten years and none have come close to the magic of The Doghouse Studio. The outside patio is absolutely stunning! There is a level of detail that was put into every single section of the studio that is unmatched. You can tell that so much love and passion was put into the space. The aesthetic and energy perfect for our artists and truly inspiring everyone that was working. Rodger, the studio owner, is one of the most gracious, kind, and accommodating studio owners. We booked the studio for a week straight and then again for other sessions. Excellent variety of mic pres, mics, amps, and outboard gear. Everything was setup for my team and I exactly as we requested. In addition, his recommended engineer was excellent and I still work with him when in LA. It was such a pleasure to do business with Rodger and I look forward to continued work together in the future!
