Great outdoor venue to see a show. The size is much smaller than neighboring open theater spaces but still draws in full crowds. Despitie the small size, there is still great seating options at the venue. The seats are auditorium style seats so you may have to stand up to make room for people shuffling past you. Better to arrive early by a few hours if you'd like to picnic before your show, otherwise the lines can get really long closer to the showtime. There is a security checkpoint at the ticket entrance. Parking options are onsite or from other nearby paid lots that have shuttles waiting. From Ovation Hollywood parking, you can follow the same shuttle signage for Hollywood Bowl attendees; employees will direct you to the correct Ford Ampitheater shuttle. It is not recommended to park onsite because it is stacked parking which means everyone has to be leaving at the end of the show in order to get out of the parking area; however this is still an option to consider if you arrive hours early to your show.

Awesome and intimate venue.
It was the last show of the season and kind of cold, around 60 F. You are allowed to bring seat cushions to help with both the cold temperature and the hard plastic seats that are not too comfortable, along with tons of blankets 😄
On site parking is available for $15.00: it is limited and stacked parking but you can arrive up to 90 minutes before the show to dine there. Another option is parking at one of the paid lots nearby that offer shuttles to the theater.
You can bring your own food and there are several tables available for picnics on the side of the stairs between the checkpoint and the theater itself. They required that all the drinks are sealed, you can bring beer and wine, too, but not spirits. We had thermos with hot tea and coffee and they were kind enough to allow us to bring it in. Other options for food are a small stand for drinks and a bodega market for a quick bite.

Such a great outdoor amphitheater! If it wasn't seasonal, I'd love to work here! The ambiance is incredible. The parking is okay, unless you don't like to walk a tad. It was an easy out, as I parked to the north. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Every time I'm here, I love it. My first feature length, that I work on, played here. So diverse and a gorgeous space, overall. Watch the inclines, my knee braces were helpful, in navigating all the areas, surrounding the venue.

Very nice and intimate concert venue across from the Hollywood Bowl. We saw Azymuth and Marcos Valle perform this past week and it was an amazing, fun and great concert

I love going here. It's such a special place. The stage allows for unique presentations and feels intimate no matter where you sit. You can bring your own food. I recommend to eat prior as the seats aren't really made for eating.
Their cocktails are great. But I miss the great vegan taco place they had before for food.

It’s picturesque. Really has such a good sound since it’s a small venue. Every seat is a good seat. But, once was enough. Parking lots were tiny and stacked. So don’t plan on having an emergency, because you won’t be able to leave.

All seats really are great seats. This is a smaller intimate venue. I was in row S and still saw the stage well. Shuttle service or ride share are the only options for this space. There is hill, and lots of stairs. I'm sure there was a secondary elevator, I just didn't see it. Overall, gray experience here.

We had an awesome experience at the Ford, attending a concert for the airborne toxic event. There really are no bad seats. It's a small comfortable venue, outdoors, and just really nice. We only wish there were more events staged here that interest us.
