Golden Skate is a gem! A wonderful atmosphere for new and advanced skaters. I highly recommend visiting solo or with your family. Golden Skate has good music, and a variety of drinks/snacks. I wouldn't change much other than the facility having a
monthly membership for those of us who like to skate frequently 🙂 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

1st Friday tonight DJ left mid session I don’t think I’ll be doing a 1st Friday again but Wednesday are most definitely better but the DJ Taz always plays the slow set the last 10 min which is a little odd. I also wish he would play a little more up to date music because he plays everything from the 2000s and before. But I am grateful that they are given us an extra 30 minutes on Wednesdays and not charging us.

We had a lot of fun 🤩 it was an amazing day. Nice and cool inside. The staff was courteous and efficient. Great music from all genres. Didn’t have any food or drinks but it was fun enough that we didn’t get hungry.

It was my first time on skates since third grade and that time it didn't end well. My daughter had a scout event there and we both liked it. Everybody was friendly and the place was clean. It inspired me to look into buying skates. Glad it stayed open and I hope it stays open so I can go back.

My daughter had her 6th year birthday party at Golden Skate. I’m not sure if it’s the way the website is worded for the booking process ,or that I didn’t ask the right questions, but you do not get the rink for private, or even semi-private use for the party. It is an actual open session, as in, open to the public. The party was $1000 with the deluxe package, extra pizzas and gratuity. The party does not include adult skaters, so if you want the parents to go out with their kids for safety, that’s extra. My daughter was too scared to skate for even half of her party due to adults and teenagers just flying by her. It was disappointing and upsetting. Maybe my expectations were too high, but having had a previous party at the Dublin ice rink where it is a private session, it should be CLEARLY listed as a public sessions, with a party room. And the party room, sat the 13 kids with standing room for 2 adults. Most couldn’t even be in the room to sing happy birthday. We will be back to skate but I would not recommend having a younger child’s party here.
