Nice sized music venue with nice Mayan / tribal decorations. I wouldn’t describe it as a “night club” definitely more of a theater. Sound was good.

Management here sucks, as evident by the fact that there is no water fill stations and a little bottle of Costco water is $7. Total cash grab, and unethical. Drinks are super pricey. Despite the fact that the show was 21+, for some reason drinks were not allowed on the floor (either have to drink in the very back of the venue or up top on the balcony), something we learned after buying our drinks. Bathroom was small and cramped, so always had a long line, and looked like just one bathroom for the whole venue, with 3 barrier-less urinals.

Huge improvement would be to add a water fill station on both floors (can even offer the crappy paper cone cups, people would still buy the water bottles), and let people drink on the floor for 21+ shows.

Enjoy the atmosphere the club is very spacious 3 big dancing floors, they have rsvp on their website, or make it in before 10:30 free, drinks are ass all night clubs a bit expensive, and there's lots of parking in the area very expensive but then you can park on the street or a block away parking range from 10 and up. Different music on each floor

They don't have free water at hot and crowded events, instead charging $7 for a very small water bottle. The drinks are also very overpriced for the quality. Cool events but the nightclub itself feels scammy

Cool venue to see a concert. The multi level allows for a lot of opportunity for a good view.

Elaborate Decor, upper and lower viewing areas, roof access for smoking, good acoustic audio and the stage has a lot of depth can have a party up there 😜

This was my ever first time coming to The Mayan
and on top of that, for a concert. There are a few parking lots across the street ($25-$30) which is convenient. The doors opened at 9:00 as stated but the show didn’t start till around 11:30. That was SUPER annoying. The drinks are strong but very expensive. The audio is horrible! For general admission there is plenty of uncomfortable seating all the way on top where the view is great however your behind will by numb by the end of the show. I would perhaps come back to dance, but not for an event.

Music is not that great. Half empty place. Need way better music, and let the good song play for more than 15 seconds.

Re: 9/20/24 Gioli & Assia
Too many tech difficulties with this show (probably the audio tech and maybe the video tech) but I felt very bad for this very talented pair. They really care about the quality of their shows and on this night you let them down, especially when it came to the sound for the vocals.
First the 1/2 hr delay of the show, and then the feedback, and it was clear that the singer had no sound in her ear pieces. Also the mic seemed to stop working for a bit, so it just felt unfair to everyone. Also, what happened to the visuals at the rear of the stage It seems that you’ll need to upgrade your equipment and hire real professional technicians if you want to continue with concerts at this venue.
