I went here because I saw lots of signs advertising a gem show over the weekend. There were lots of small gifts inside and the prices were reasonable. You could spend a few dollars and get merchandise that you love, or you could spend lots on some of the more pricey items. The lady behind the counter was extremely helpful and friendly. I'd recommend The Outpost to anyone traveling on Pearblossom Highway. I might not go out of my way to make a special trip.

On the way back from a business trip I stopped in. I've seen this place before while passing by. It's a cool rustic curio shop with stuff that is not only neat to look at, but things you'd want to buy. Has a nice homey feel.
They have a nice selection of Beef Jerky. I bought the Chipotle Bourbon Beef Jerky and couldn't be happier -- perfect for the drive home.
Staff was friendly too.

Nice little place to purchase some neat stuff. Me personally, I come here often for the jerky more than anything. It was love at first bite when we stopped the first time been going back since. Really good jerky. All of it. These are just a few. Also the pictures were taken while riding home from here. Kinda sloppy picture taking sorry

Better than ever!! Lots of new items for sale!!

The Outpost is a locally-owned business that sells Native American jewelry, art, knives, blankets, drums, and other Native American items. They also teach gold panning and occasionally have metal detection items for sale. They sell other, nature centered, jewelry, rocks and minerals, and gift items in addition to the Native American items. There are seasonal community yard sales on the property, car shows, pow wows, art shows, and other events as well.

I love the outpost close to the ranch,
Lots to see in there. Family owned
Lots of choices of beef jerky very good.
Don't past it up... lots of Historic History
Of native American western cultures Indian things very nice place... and a nice rest spot while driving on the 138 hwy..

I always wondered what was in the stores on the way to Las Vegas, so we stopped in at The Outpost.

The store has an eclectic collection of old west souvenirs, mineral specimens, local honey, pottery and so much more. They also have a good selection of Minnetonka Moccasins, who knew?

I hear the owner also gives tours of the desert, but we didn't get any details. Definitely worth stopping by.
