Nice record store. I have definitely found some great gems at reasonable prices. Recently their bins are too tight to the point that you can't even browse through the selections. The clearance bins outside are a hit or miss and at $3.99, most of these records are overpriced, unless they have a promotion. I haven't found anything worthwhile in a few months, so maybe their estate sale acquisitions haven't been as good. They should cull these bins a bit. A lot of old stuff there. Their electronic section is dismal, but their promotions are great when you sign up for their email subscription, so it evens out. Nevertheless, it's nice to have a record store that is open til 11:30 pm when I have the impulse to do some shopping.

I’ve been coming here for YEARS and they never disappoint. They are constantly getting new inventory which makes my monthly pop-ins exciting. Every employee is SO knowledgeable about music. The environment is always welcoming and just a fun hang. Chatting with Chad or Chris is always fun and they make you feel like a longtime friend. It’s definitely worth a trip. They also have a connecting speakeasy bar now!!

This is THE place for my vinyl collection.
Always a friendly vibe. No hassle. Solid prices and quality records. The store sales are the best!! And they also have online auction. As a bonus, lots of cool places to eat in the area

Went here pretty recently and was blown away by collection of ultra rare Punk vinyl that they just got in. Nearly wanted to buy every single record in the bin. Unfortunately the last couple of times I’ve been here, they said that the collection is all upstairs and that I have to “search for what I want on discogs”
Kind of defeats the whole purpose of going to a record shop guys. I may not always remember the exact album title , band name, or album cover etc.. but I remember that I liked what I heard and that I went in there intending to buy it. Physically digging through the bins is a big part of the whole experience if you’re into Vinyl.

I think the shop would flow a lot better if
they would keep the upstairs area open to customers and have more shelves of records to browse through up there.

Or , at the very least… if they would upgrade the main downstairs area with a wider variety of genres.

I will say.. that some of my favorite records as well as some of the rarest in my collection were found at this store, so overall it’s a pretty cool spot. Plenty of original pressings, great place for serious collectors. Fun place to stop by in Hollywood and kill some time.

Not quite sure how to feel, got a great recommendation and purchased one album. The (I think) owner couldn't be bothered it felt like. Young employee was kind and helpful. One liner: old, musty, crate digging.

Hands down the best record store in LA. Every Saturday they drop new “old” records for some of the best crate digging finds you’ll find. Over 200k records to sort thru!

Love the team. Love the aesthetic.

&& Love how it’s now attached to one of my top 5 favorite speakeasies too!
