This place is honestly a filthy, outdated ghetto. I am fearful this is going to go out of business just like Westminster Ice someday. Actually all “The Rinks” facilities need major fix up and updating except for Great Ice obviously. Figure skating ice time is overtaken and overshadowed by Ice Hockey because it brings money. But sadly Duck’s coaches aren’t even serious about teaching the kids-they are always just playing, being goofy and socializing with each other while “coaching” in the Ducks program.
Just no quality in anything.

Lakewood ice continues to raise prices without giving you anything in return.
Showers don't drain, missing nozzles, unable to adjust temperatures, lockers unable to vent the steam. Not to mention the poor ice & board quality. Management & staff could care less about the facilities or complaints.

I've been playing at this rink even before it was bought by Ducks and became part of "The Rinks".
It has gone downhill & at the same time continues to be more expensive every season.
They just did a locker room remodel on a bunch of lockers, but again it was done very poorly & will be need to be remodeled again by the end of the year. No vents in the showers / lockers cause the entire room to steam up without anywhere for it to go.

More people need to speak out about this place. It is awful but 1 of the few options in the area.

Great facility with more than one sheet of ice. I would give it 5 stars but I shoot a lot of pics for hockey and this place has some of the worst glass to shoot through! Please try to clean it.

I love watching the kids practice hockey, and the figure skaters are amazing. There are three rinks in here. The Olympic, there is the NHL standard rink. And they have recently finished fixing and restoring the smaller rink for the ones learning to skate. They have a snack bar.

We went to see one of my daughter's friends play in his hockey game. This game was fun and the people were all friendly.

This place is really nice! The staff are all super helpful, kind, and interactive. There are three rinks, they have birthday rooms, nice rental skates and lean-to-assist devices. There is ample parking, and they play fun music during the open skate sessions. They have lessons and hockey and figure skating and all that too, and all I can say about that is a friend has a young daughter in one of the figure skating classes and she really likes it.

The only reason I don’t give it 5-stars is that some of the facilities are not super nice… like the benches and bleachers, the lobby, etc… we’re just a little old and not-nice looking… almost a little rickety at places. Could use some upgrading… 🙂

But we love going here to skate and we highly recommend it!
