TinyFest California

Shout out to the organizers for putting this on for us! Really cool array of display models, very informative sessions and talks! It was great! Went to the one in Santa Clara, and now I'm thinking of maybe checking out their next one in San Diego. Also shout out to the Kettle Queen vendor duo! I hope they're at the next event too! Generous folks, with an incredible product!

I was volunteering at a wine event next door and we were able to get in at no charge with our wristbands and I’m so glad I checked Tiny Fest out! It’s such a cool little or shall I say, large community! The house may be tiny but this fest was by all means, not tiny! I felt like it went on forever as you keep walking deeper and deeper. There were a few food vendors like kettle corn, hot dog, and beer. I came on Sunday but it’s a two day event with live music. The place is organized and sectioned out for tiny homes, van life, campers, school buses, and modular homes. People either live in these full time or rent them out or some had for sale signs. It’s a great way to come and explore the floor plans to see if this is the life style you want. Owners were on site and are happily to answer any questions. Everyone was friendly and graciously welcomed us into their home.

Do you pay to enter a car dealer to look at their cars?!? NO! There’s no mention of their entry fee on any of the advertisements so beware, before you get there. To our surprise they charge $20/person just to enter the grounds. Of course you pay $15 parking too so be prepared to cough up some money. There were long lines to enter each model as they are tiny and hard to maneuver around. So I get that part but I really didn’t get the $20 entry fee. If I were the manufacturers of these homes, paying lots of money to have space at the fest, I would demand that organizer would not charge an entry fee so more people would come in.

Love it great great time looking forward to doing that again.
