Great record store I have visited during a trip to Saint Augustine. Amazing stuff and the girl that works there was very kind and helpful when I asked about a record I was looking for. Great prices as well. Was nice to find a classic of Argentine Tango from the 70s, although Julio Sosa was Uruguayan. Pretty rare to find this kind of music in American stores, Latin America music is more associated to Caribbean or Central America rhythms than what was goin on in Argentina and Uruguay.

Excellent vinyl selection and helpful staff for questions with record players. I could spend hours looking through their selection! Luckily their inventory is also on their website. They even have brand new releases.

Tone Vendor rocks!! It is indeed and by far the best record store in Saint Augustine and area. The staff if friendly, knowledgeable, nice and attentive. The amount of records and the quality is outstanding. Prices are fair and there is a big range of possibilities , from a 1 dollar bin, great second hand, new arrivals and brand new. If you love record playing like I do, visit this adorable store and support them!!! Have a spiny day!!

No trip to St Augustine is complete without a trip to Tonevendor. Truly one of the great indie record shops in Florida. Maybe the best jazz section in the Southeast, plus an amazingly curated soul section…and don’t sleep on the indie/alternative and 80’s new wave sections.

Make sure you give yourself time to dig, because you won’t want to leave. Also, pro tip, they have free 75 minute parking in the adjacent lot.

Best record shop in St. Augustine, hands down!! Clean, organized and great selection. Fair prices and owner is a collector, so you know he cares about what he sells. Been to the area twice in three years and it’s always a part of the to do list when we are visiting!!!

Since when is it ok to sell unofficial bootlegs as new records? Sealed bootlegs for 35-50 dollars, but hard to tell until you get home and open it. If you're going to sell bootlegs, you need to label them as such, as anything less is false advertising and pretty sure it's not legal. If you want to pay absolute top dollar for used records, this is the record store for you. I feel pretty ripped off after spending about 200 - almost half of which was on worthless bootlegs.

Always a joy to shop here! My hubby and I have gone out of our way to stop by this gem for years when visiting St. Aug. The staff are always knowledgeable and kind. No pretentious record store vibes here... Excellent selection as well.
