Much more than a museum, here you will find a community of volunteers, restoration enthusiasts, historians, veterans and active aviators of all types all joining together to create an amazing experience that welcomes the general public. Adjoined to an active airfield, these hangers are alive with ongoing flight activities. We were fortunate to have visited on one of their "open cockpit days" and met several docents, veteran pilots and plane restorers that were all experts of one type of another. Having such an amazing place in close proximity to the Kennedy Space Center makes it the perfect adjunct facility in an already historic historic locale. This place is well worth the visit!

Awesome museum. Ken and Chip did a terrific job as tour guides for our visit. It's a wonderful display of aircraft used in wartime and peace over the years. I'll let my pictures speak for me. It's an up close and personal museum and be prepared to spend a couple hours looking at the beautiful planes.

It's been 20 years since I last visited this museum. So much has been added; it's well worth the price of admission! They have some amazing volunteers who will even give you a free tour and explain everything you are looking at, which I thought was pretty neat. I opted to just walk around on my own. They have added two more hangars since my last visit and have another currently being built. Most of the planes and choppers are static displays only, but they do have several in airworthy condition. I'm glad to see this place is still here and thriving. Hopefully, I'll be around in 20 years to see it again.

We happened into this museum after visiting KSC and it was a phenomenal feast for anyone who loves history, aeronautics and hands on experience. We were led from craft to craft by a very friendly and knowledgeable guide and she even let us aboard a few of the planes. An amazing place that we will return again soon!

This museum does not look 👀 like much from the parking 🅿️ lot but once you step in your in another world 🌎 The $20 admission price 💵 per person 🧍‍♀️ was reasonable but it was our tour guide Al that made all the difference. We learned the historical stories behind the plane’s ✈️ We were able to interact with some of the displayed airplane’s ✈️ so be sure 👍 to have a guide with you when you visit. Oh and they do catering events there. So you can have your favorite 🤩 Christmas 🎄 party in the plane ✈️ hanger. The best part was my husband found the fighter jet 🛩️ his Dad 👨 flew in the Air Force.

We brought our teenage kids to visit & everyone enjoyed the memorabilia as well as the hangers full of planes! The Sea Dragon helicopter was impressive! The kids loved getting to sit in the pilot & copilot seats with all the controls.

This is a review of the valiant Air command warbird museum in Florida.

First I would like to say that all staff that we encountered were super friendly and professional 😁

There is plenty of outside free parking , handicap is right by the front door and front doors are handicapped accessible.

This museum is inside and outside with some parts being air-conditioned and some parts being outside temperature so take that into consideration if you have health issues that are weather dependent such as hot and humid in July and August perhaps.

Some of the pictures will best describe what you can see at the museum's facilities it is recommended to take one of their free volunteer guides around so that you have a little more access and can get a lot more inside knowledge as these women and gentlemen are absolutely awesome.
