Katherine was an awesome guide
The ride was beautiful and the horses were great. I am so glad we did not go with the bigger more well known Stables Yelp gave us. We are visiting a friend in the area and wanted something to take her mind off the day to day stresses of caring for an elderly parent. These views were unbelievable. Thanks Katherine you helped us succeed. We will definitely return next time we visit the area.

Located in the outskirts of Prescott in beautiful rural city of Dewey. Katherine and her horses were wonderful. I was a first time rider and she was very educational and patient, as well as her horses. We got to ride in the national forest and up along the mountain, it was like a step back in time and a nice escape. Highly recommend!!!!

I had such a beautiful ride at Whispering Hooves with Katherine as my guide. She is wonderful! She is kind, professional, knowledgeable, and a consummate horse woman. The horses were sure footed, and had gentle dispositions. They are obviously well cared for, and certainly very patient with an inexperienced rider such as myself.
I very highly recommend a ride with Katherine at Whispering Hooves.

The best place to ride when visiting Prescott! From the initial phone call to us driving away, every part of the process was perfect. Katherine made sure I was able to surprise my wife with a great early spring ride. She was helpful on the phone with getting us booked and giving us the best directions to the stables. We really liked that we had a personal ride with just us, no big groups. The horses get to ride as they desire and under your control, no tail to nose half blind riding here. Katherine will give you some pointers if she see's a way to improve your ride and safety. SHe's taught many clinics and lessons for many years. The horses, ride and views were all great. We even got to see an old mine! We will certainly be back for more great rides.
