Absolutely fantastic! Taylor, my tour guide, was absolutely lovely and very informative. It was wonderful getting to see so much film history, from Forrest Gump, to Catch Me If You Can, to Flags of Our Fathers, to Wedding Crashers, to Oppenheimer, and more. It was a great tour, and the theater interior itself is absolutely GORGEOUS!

The last time I was there in the 80's, I was performing. This visit was for a memorial service for a dance sister. But, even in the remembrance, the Wilshire Ebell still holds its own as an iconic LA venue for performance and other community activities. It's eclectic architecture is a throwback to old Hollywood. And, one of the best aspects: ample parking!

I was there to perform. The dressing rooms and areas for talent were super hot. Yes it’s an old building full of history and I appreciate that. They should have operable cooling fans in the hallways and dressing rooms. It was so hot and unbearable.

Beautiful theater. Tight seats with limited leg room- like most of our older theaters in LA. The staff was so helpful and friendly. And there was a lot next to the theater. It was free the last time I went, which is unheard of in LA! They had a row of handicap parking on the theater side, but random people parked there. I only saw a couple of handicapped placards.
The Wilshire Ebell is a big gem in Los Angeles's crown.

Free parking for most of the seats in the theater. Sightlines were good. Architecture was beautiful. Seats were small. The downstairs ladies room only had three working stalls. There is a handicap stall on the ground floor that is only accessible from outside the front door of the building.

The theatre itself is rustic and beautiful. The seats are getting tired and padding is pretty much gone. The free parking is awesome BUT... There was a second show right after ours. People kept pouring in to the parking lot not smart enough to figure out the blocked the entire lot so the first show could not get out. Not an attendant or staff member in sight. Finally a guy stepped out and directed traffic. We eventually got out.

A beautiful venue on the small side , that’s nearly 100 years old. Was easy to park - free too ! just a few steps to theater. Would be easy to take elderly people to. Comfortable seats and efficient ticketed entry. Highly recommend.

I enjoyed the play! Parking was close by. It was easy to enter and exit. There are only 4 stalls in the lady's restroom downstairs. There's more restrooms upstairs, but I didn't get to see the inside because the line was too long. Make sure you go before the play starts.
