Great time with Galen and Julep. ?Professional, punctual, and super cool. Took us to Gull Island on the way back and got a lil nature tour and saw some otters and birds.

Take Ashore! They’re awesome and will take you where you need to go and give you some good tips, too!

We really enjoyed our trip across Kachemak Bay with Galen and his Ashore Water Taxi. He is very experienced, easy-going and very informative. Loved hearing about the local geology. It's clear that both he and Sarah in the ticket office enjoy their work. They really helped make our trip to Grewingk Glacier a success. We highly recommend them and their service!

Friendly, punctual, and awesome service at a great price! Galen was a great captain. He navigated Halibut Cove Lagoon with extreme ease, and he picked us up exactly when he said he would. Definitely give Ashore Water Taxi a shot, you won’t be disappointed!

The owners are some of the sweetest, most genuine people we’ve encountered. They were flexible with us since my wife is pregnant and Dave was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and gave us lots of fun facts on our trip to Gull Island. We got to see puffins and sea otters!
One of the best parts were the pups though. Pika gave us a very special guest appearance after not riding in months and Kuleana had us laughing the whole time. Highly recommend!

Booked for a taxi ride across Kachemak Bay to spend the day hiking in the state park. Service was punctual, friendly, helpful, and very skilled! They also offered more affordable rates than other places, and with two little kids we appreciated that a lot!

I can’t imagine having a better experience. Nice office manager, nice boat, nice guide/captain. Everything was great. The boat was clean and in perfect condition. The boat dog was on her best behavior. Perfect experience at a great price (plus they gave us a 10% military discount). Can’t recommend enough.

Very friendly family run business!! They are very knowledgeable and advised us on a great trip to seldovia. Their boats are dog friendly and you may even get cuddles from Dave’s sweet boat dog Kuleana!
