Pictured is Holiday Village in the Park, 12.01.2023. Santa was sitting inside gazebo for pictures with kids. Line was very, very long.

Easy to find location near downtown to meet up with friends or family for a quick picnic lunch. Picnic tables on site. This park does not have a playground, so cannot really recommend for families with young children looking to play. It's the site of a local historical museum, though, which has interesting permanent and rotating exhibits. This park can be very busy during the Farmers Market on Thursday afternoon/eves (seasonal), but has not been crowded at other times we have stopped by except during scheduled events. Relatively short walk from one of the many restaurants downtown, so great place to enjoy a takeout meal under the mature trees.

Thirsty Thursday farmers market is a great time. Grab a beverage, and go pick up whatever fresh vegetables are in season. The food options present are great, and the whole thing is very family friendly as well.

Its a beautiful little park. A perfect place for the Farmers Market. A perfect place to enjoy coffee or something and sit and read a book and relax. I'm visiting from Idaho. I look forward to spending more time there before I leave California.

Small place with a fountain and gazebo, but if you want all the enjoyment that much privacy and close to stores - if you don't mind that, you can go there. One will have to appreciate the flagpole as well.

Not really sure why this is a park to be honest. I suppose it's nice to walk around but I really don't get a feeling that this building is historical in any way. The occupant inside changes from time to time; right now it's an art museum. The town farmers market usually sets up around the perimeter. I like the fountain that they have out front though; it's pretty and it's very clean

I love all of the events that take place here from farmers market to chili-cook off, to whatever event Livermore puts on.

I took a star off because for as clean and quaint as this park is, it seems like the only thing they don't bother maintaining is the tables/benches - they are in serious need of repair or at least rinsing.

it's a great place to meet up with friends on the Thursday evening Farmers Market. Also, every third Thursday is Thirsty Thursdays. Local wine and beer vendors are there to showcase their offerings.
