Did not get the outstanding service that everyone else and their website claims they give, however I understand this was because we went during the back to school rush. We were not allowed to test the instruments, which would have been nice before we committed to a 3 month plan for $130. The worker could not be bothered to look for 1 of 2 instruments we wanted to see so we just got the one they pulled out. They also could not wait the 60 seconds for me to call someone with a credit card to use (so that I didn’t have to put down an additional $500 deposit on my debit card) but at least when I got up to the front (truly not exaggerating on the 1 minute) someone else was there and ready to check us out. I don’t think this experience reflects them as a whole and we are excited for the complimentary classes they offer coming up, which was a big sell point for me and why I would still recommend their rental program.

They are a wonderful organization that will go the extra mile to make sure your needs are met. They took great care of my band students when I was teaching in Alaska. (We've since moved). Horn Doctor is by far the most friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful music store I've visited. They let us in to shop even when their server was down for a little bit and were willing to hold things for us. (They didn't need to as they were able to quickly get their server back online).

Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Brought an Alto Sax in, that was purchased here, that had an issue and they diagnosed the problem and made the fix as we waited.

Went in on July 26th and had an excellent experience. Very helpful staff who assisted me with my purchases from the very beginning without being asked. I found exactly what I was looking for and a bit more. They don't just sell horns here folks! Great selection of guitars, harmonicas and tons of other stuff. Prices were excellent. Horn doc does phenomenal work on band repair. Comparing to any other shop there is no other comparison for professional woodwind and brass repair. We have taken our horns to the top repair shops, including Emilio Lions in New York and B&D Woodwind Design and John is actually better. His shop is state of the art. He fixed a baritone sax with a huge dent on the bell from shipping so well that no one could tell it had ever been damaged.

We have purchased 2 saxophones from Horn Doctor - they have been amazingly helpful with helping us make a selection all the way through any work that needed to be done from tune ups to a repair from a fall with the alto. FIRST CLASS all the way! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Amazing service, information and resources for all of your music needs. Mrs. Barbara patiently and professionally helped my 6th grader get dialed in on an instrument for her to try in band. The flute rental option was great at $30/mo and insurance for an additional $6/mo. A three month rental contract was require; that seems reasonable to me. The purchase price was also fair. They also had all the additional supplies we needed. No high pressure sales, only friendly and helpful! We will be back!
