Madam Cooper’s is a must see in Skagway! The interior is beautifully decorated and you can tell there was a lot of research that went into the production of the performances. Madam Cooper is a talented burlesque performer and singer who really cares about her craft. Her and her husband were kind people who made us feel comfortable, despite this being our first burlesque show. If you have ever had an interest in this type of performance but have been too shy to attend, this is the perfect introduction!

I've been here for two entirely different performances, and I can't recommend the experience enough! A semi-private burlesque booth with rotating guest performers, all featuring the resident Lady of the House herself, Madam Cooper. I'd recommend this for anyone interested in the historic art of Burlesque, and without giving too much away, I'll say this: imagine, if you will, you have a small locket in your hand. You open it up, and inside is a small, magical tableau suddenly come to life, as would one of those moving pictures, ala "Harry Potter." A richly decorated scene awaits you as the music begins, and although you feel as if it will suddenly disappear if you blink or move, respectful hootin' and hollerin' is appreciated. Perfect for Date Night, Girls Night, Stag/Bachelorette Parties, or as an educational lesson introducing folks to one of the oldest forms of entertainment in town. Don't Be a Prude or Afraid of the (semi-) Nude! Treat Your Peepers, 'cause this Act is a Keeper!
