Support local business! Don’t be scared to go here and do business! I have been doing business with them for 3 years now mainly for our church. They have staff that really are knowledgeable and I personally have gotten some serious tips and help for our PA system. They even offer to come out and help on site (for a fee of course) which I did not end up doing going but appreciate the option. Maybe in the future with a better setup.
A decent selection is found and they are great in prices!! They won’t typically won’t be beat on a normal day. I appreciate that! A lot of times I just rather do without the premium ooh and ahh of big name stores. Again SUPPORT a local business.

One of my favorite local businesses. They give good advice, are reasonably priced and have a great selection. Often they can beat many internet prices. I just recently bought an amp from them and it was the best deal I could find locally or on the internet.

Just ordered an Orange bass amp from this place. Excellent service and extremely fast shipping! Chris was very friendly and helpful and worked with me to get this new amp. I ordered the amp over the phone on Monday and it arrived to me in Kotzebue on Wednesday. Couldn’t be happier.

First and foremost they have the best inventory in the state, but as far as customer service goes hands down the worst experience I have ever had from a local business ever……I live in rural interior alaska but due to the birth of my son i was in town for around 10 days so i took the opportunity to bring in a nice guitar i had purchased a few months back private sale that had a floyd rose tremolo and is just more than i cared to mess with. I came in about a hour before closing and there was at least 6 people working in the shop, Cody their “tech” greeted me and was pretty cool over all but once i told him that i was looking to trade the instrument i brought in for store credit to purchase something more to my liking from their inventory of new and use instruments he kinda just told me the 1 guy out of the 6-8 employs working was leaving in a hour and he didn't want to bother him since the store was closing. So understandable right hour before close i can understand that. How ever i had brought my guitar in and the guys be hind the counter are playing it messing with every thing asking me questions for about 45 minutes but not one of these guys can look at reverb and give a number based of average sold and the condition of the instrument in front of them….but i had found a guitar i liked so i wanted to make a deal so i told them i would be back in a few days earlier in the day so we could make something happen. Fast forward few days i arrived at 11:30am half hour after the store opens and once again at least 6 employees there every one doing nothing except for cody…….that kid is alright it sucks he seemed to actually have his head in the game but has to come to that place every day…..any way low and behold im bringing in 1,500 dollar instrument with a case in excellent condition and all of a sudden the only guy that can apparently put a value on a trade in has to leave for the next 3 hours or something but cant handle a 20 minute interaction? What a joke…..mind you for store credit that i plan to use in the store obviously im not trying to sell some stolen shit for cheap money and get high seems to be the theme around town…..i just wanted something with a fixed bridge and i was short on time been to store twice and bother time out of 6 or more employees not doing anything there is one guy!? Train some one to pick up this guys slack……kinda makes sense that these guys cant sell a squire strat and have gear and instruments piled up cuz they are a joke. And then i took it upon myself to check used prices on the guitar i was looking to purchase from them they had it marked at $500 used reverb Average was $300 in excellent condition…..the guitar they had was modified by who idk probably not them but they were still asking crazy money……ultimately i let some other employee take some pictures of my guitar and gave him my cell and said hey if you wanna make a deal call me if not its fine i dont have time for a business that acts like the guy who can only play the tapping section of eruption when people are around but doesn't have any idea what band Eddie played in……ha place sucks

Excellent service. Cody went out of his way to help me try out a few different acoustic guitars. He noticed that the action on one was a little too high and immediately took it to make an adjustment and to put new strings on it. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Anchorage!

Horrible customer service. They belittled me from the moment I walked into the door from the minute I was stepping out.
While I was expecting a lower price on the item I was attempting to sell, the men behind the counter seemed so excited to treat me like someone who didn’t know what they were doing.
I’d rather sell my instruments for less than they offered, than sell to a business that treats women poorly.
