This was our first day (and first time ever) at Salmonfest, based on a recommendation from Cousin Curtiss. We are so glad we made the trip from Colorado. The number and variety of food vendors is impressive. The 4 stages were nicely arranged so no one would drown out anyone else. Everyone is friendly, and we love the sustainability theme. This might be the cleanest event we've ever been to. Of course, the music lineup was top-notch, and let's not forget the real intent of the event--drawing attention to the environmental issues affecting this beautiful part of the country.

Would we go again, definitely a yes?

PROS: Entertaining and fun times for sure once in. Just a tad bit on the expensive side for the shows and at the booths for what is offered but NOT unduly so, great people and vibes too.

CONS: Parking is horrendous, both shoulders of main(only) highway through town combined with people trying to make highway into a “sidewalk” just meandering along without a care versus using commonsense to walk the trails, ditches and parking lots that parallel it on BOTH sides. So prepare yourself for that!!?!! A lot of pot smoking too, surprised you don’t get a “contact high” with just driving through to destinations further south or north?
