In 2014, I hired this company to do a major home move to another location in Alaska. I had previously used their services and had no trouble. They’d picked up boxed furniture from Freddy’s which had no delivery, and the put it together for me and I was happy. This time was a total 180. I was extremely unhappy with the moving job and the lousy way they ended up treating me.

There’s too much to describe, but in the end, they’d really damaged a new bed. They had for some reason stripped the bed, stolen a hand made blanket that was a gift, apparently dragged the bed across the wood floor of their truck, gotten my new bed filthy and full of splinters. I wanted them to pay me for another bed or at minimum toward the purchase. I did not get anything but hassles and insults from them.

I had just bought the bed for $800 from the mattress barn and it was in pristine condition before these movers got their hands on it. That was my biggest problem with them. I went to the BBB to file a complaint after they had spoken to me insultingly and childishly. It didn’t help at all!

I learned they are or were based in Texas. I could not find an owner to contact. The listed principals of the company were apparently random deceased people. I then learned online that interstate moving companies like this are often fronts for illegal activities, smuggling stolen goods, etc. This scared me because I feel I had trusted them much more than they deserved.

The so called owner or manager in Wasilla seemed to always speak to me as if he was a juvenile delinquent, irresponsible, making up absurd stories to try to blame me or my family for the damages which is absurd and insulting. It was absolutely not possible that any of the damages happened except in the move, and I had been promised and paid for quilting, padding, and coverings to protect all my furniture from damage. They seem to have not used them, and inexplicably to have stripped my bed down to the bare mattresses and severely damaged the mattresses in the move.

This was never resolved. They also stole a blanket from me, I found it hard to believe they would but I never found it again in any of my things and it had been right on top of the bed, and they seem to have picked up a lot of unprofessional bums and thieves at the last minute to do my packing. They were ridiculously unprofessional. Five year olds could have done a better job of packing! It was a nightmare.

I absolutely and without hesitation would not recommend this awful company. If I ever have to move again, I will make other arrangements. They quoted me about $2,000 to $4,000 for the move and packing, and all the boxes and quilts. On route they called me and told me it was over $6,000 and if I did not pay them instantly, they would keep all my things.

They had simply not informed me, and I had repeatedly asked them to guide me through the process because I had never done such a major move before, but if you make suddenly a $6,000 charge on your account, apparently your bank won’t pay without additional verification from you. I didn’t know this before hand and they could have easily informed me ahead of time, instead of treating me so shabbily while I was in the process of driving to meet the moving truck at my new home.

I recommend finding any other way possible to move than to use these peoples services. I would have probably been better off finding some other way to move my things. Even though this experience was ten years ago now, it was one of the worst experiences with a business in my life, so it’s hard to forget it, and no, I don’t recommend them at all.

Due to the Nov 2018 earthquake we had to use Valley Movers, John, Josh, Dustin, Jeff & Chris helped us move out seven offices!! They were tireless professional and work very hard to make sure everything made it to a new space securely and helps us set up everything and cleaned up after themselves in the whole time!!
We just moved back in today and they went above and beyond and are very flexible and met all her needs and every one of the offices were very happy for the quality and the care that they provided they were on time and supremely professional!! I would call them for every kind of move I would need!!

This is a great place. I needed to find some moving blankets to help insulate my rv and they had some. The lady found me the cleanest nicest once she could find and they were only 15 dollars a piece. So great price and sweet lady. I'd tell anyone looking to find help with moving or storage to go here. They treat you with the respect you'd treat family.

They moved our stuff from Wasilla to Arizona. It was mostly boxes and some loose items that they packed before shipping. Our stuff was on pallets wrapped in padded paper and shrink wrapped. Items that wouldn’t fit in boxes were packed in a large wooden crate and nailed shut. The way it was all packed made it very difficult for items to disappear. It all arrived and nothing was broken or damaged.

Moved from a bedroom in Palmer to an apartment in Wasilla. I had them pack up some things in boxes, stop at Bailey’s to pick up furniture and bring it to my new apartment in Wasilla. They did a great job and I would hire them again.

The workers were professional and handled our belongings with care. Otherwise it would have been 1 star. I have used moving companies many times in the past. Never have I had to pay movers to drive to and from my residence. This was not mentioned to me over the phone when discussing charges. At $60/hr for two workers that came $120. Classic bait and switch if you ask me. Never will I use or recommend this company to anyone.

This company has helped me extraordinary. They have neglected to charge me for any late fees. They have helped me move a couple times. They are always extremely friendly every time I go in there. And if they cannot contact me about my bill through email or text they will call you. Wonderful company
